One catalog feeds every register
HomeRoom holds the products, variants, prices, costs, images, availability, and stock counts for the store.
Paired registers receive catalog changes through sync. The crew works from the current store record instead of maintaining a separate price list on each device.
Authorized students can help manage products, pricing, or inventory. The advisor decides which permissions each user receives.
Catalog work can also become class work. Students can compare cost and price, review slow movers, count inventory, and document the change they recommend.
Reporting starts with live data
Sales reach HomeRoom as the register syncs. The dashboard shows net sales, gross profit, transactions, sales trends, and top sellers for the selected period.
Analytics pages add category, margin, product, checkout, and operational views. Cash Drawer and Failed Offline Payments provide specific exception records.
Exports support finance work that needs to continue in another system. The advisor still reviews the figures, resolves missing inputs, and brings the right questions to the crew.
Controls are explicit
- Access: The advisor invites users and assigns catalog, pricing, inventory, reporting, and refund permissions.
- Register identity: Schools can enable operator login so sales and shifts carry a named operator.
- Refunds: An authorized PIN is required. The school decides who can approve one.
- Cash counts: When enabled, drawer sessions record expected, counted, and variance amounts.
- Devices: Registers pair to approved stores and can be revoked from HomeRoom.
- Offline sales: Cash can continue offline. Offline cards depend on the store setting and transaction cap.
These controls reduce ambiguity. They still need an owner who reviews access, investigates exceptions, and works with the school’s finance procedures.
What stays with the advisor
The advisor coaches the crew, approves access, reviews unusual activity, and decides when a number is ready to become a lesson.
The school still owns purchasing, deposits, account reconciliation, student supervision, and local policy. RallyOrder supplies records and controls for those workflows; it does not replace them.
